The creation
A vivid orange berry oil, richly nourishing.
You can tell this oil from the others at a glance. Sea buckthorn is deep orange, the colour of its berries, and that colour is real: carotenoids, along with omega fatty acids and antioxidants, which our label names alongside rare omega-7. It is a rich, silky oil that sinks in slowly and leaves skin feeling nourished, soft and resilient.
Press four to six drops into clean skin and it warms to a faint golden tint, then melts into a luminous, dewy finish. It is the oil we reach for when skin feels dry, dull or tired, and it suits an evening routine best.
Our Sea Buckthorn Face Oil is 100% pure, with no added fragrance. Because the colour is natural, a drop can mark fabric, so start with two and keep white towels away.
- Skin feels nourished, soft and resilient
- A comfortable cushion of moisture for dry skin
- A luminous, dewy, brighter-looking finish

The story behind
Made by hand, in small batches, by a mother and son in Brooklyn
Marianella spent her childhood in her grandmother's kitchen in Venezuela, making soap and beauty products by hand, and her travels taught her to look for plants that thrive where little else does. Sea buckthorn clings to harsh slopes across Europe and Asia, and its bright orange berries give a vivid, rich oil.
We bottle it pure, by hand, in our Williamsburg workshop in batches of 50 to 100, in a bottle designed by her son David. No harsh chemicals, no animal testing, and as little waste as we can manage. We think of this oil as our evening indulgence.

The perfect partner

Press the peptide serum in first; sea buckthorn then goes over it as an evening layer.

Oil first, then the rich night cream last to hold it in.

Mist first, then press the oil over it as the final evening step.

Cleanse with the cream, pat dry, then press the oil in at night.
