Royal Kalahari: nine oils, made by hand in Williamsburg
The Royal Kalahari Face Serum is the formula our brand is known for, and it won People's Star Beauty Award for Best Facial Care Product. It is led by Kalahari melon seed oil, our hero ingredient, cold-pressed from the seeds of a wild melon that grows in the Kalahari of southern Africa and stores water through the dry season. The oil is clear and golden, light and dry to the touch, and rich in linoleic acid.
Around it, baobab and camellia seed oils cushion and soften dry skin, passion fruit seed oil helps skin look brighter and more even, and tamanu comforts skin that looks dry or stressed. Mongongo, monoi de Tahiti (coconut oil infused with tiare flowers), vitamin C and vitamin E complete it. There is no added fragrance. We make it by hand in our Williamsburg workshop, in batches of 50 to 100.
The peptide serum: made for us by a specialist lab
The Wrinkle Reducing Ultra Peptide Intensive Face Serum is built around three peptides. Argireline and SNAP-8 are related peptides aimed at expression lines. Matrixyl 3000, a pair of peptides, is chosen for skin that looks smoother and more refined. They travel in a light, fast-absorbing rosehip seed oil base, with centella asiatica for a calm, comfortable feel, sodium hyaluronate to help skin hold moisture, and ascorbyl palmitate and vitamin E for brightness and antioxidant care. It is naturally preserved with Leucidal.
Unlike almost everything else we sell, this serum is not made in our workshop. Our two Ultra Peptide formulas, this serum and the matching night cream, are made for us by a specialist cosmetic lab. We think it is worth saying plainly.

The Royal Kalahari Face Serum is light and sinks in without a greasy feel, so it sits comfortably under sunscreen and makeup. That makes it a natural morning step.
