The creation
A true castile-style body soap of coconut, olive and jojoba.
The daily shower, done slowly. This is a true castile-style liquid soap: organic coconut, olive and jojoba oils, saponified the traditional way, so it cleans with real soap rather than a thickened detergent.
Coconut oil gives the lather its lift, olive oil keeps it gentle and creamy, and jojoba, a light liquid wax from the Sonoran Desert, leaves skin feeling soft. Organic aloe vera adds a cool, fresh touch, rosemary extract helps keep the oils fresh, and a touch of Kalahari Melon Seed Oil, the oil our brand is built on, finishes it.
It is scented with natural essential oil blends, in scents that match our body cream and body oil. The scent lifts in the steam and settles into a soft, clean trace on skin. Because it is real soap, it pours more fluidly than a gel, and a little goes a long way on a cloth or sponge.
It comes in a bathroom-safe bottle that is easy to hold with wet hands. Layer it with the matching body cream for a complete routine, or buy the 128 oz gallon to refill.

- Real soap from saponified organic plant oils

The story behind
Made by hand, in small batches, by a mother and son in Brooklyn
Marianella spent her childhood in her grandmother's kitchen in Venezuela, making soap and beauty products by hand, and this is soap the way she learned it: organic coconut, olive and jojoba oils saponified into a true liquid soap, finished with organic aloe vera, rosemary extract and a touch of Kalahari Melon Seed Oil.
It is the same formula as our hand wash, made by hand in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in batches of 50 to 100, in a bottle designed by her son David. The scents come from her travels and memories of Venezuela. No harsh chemicals, no animal testing, and as little waste as we can manage.

The perfect partner

Wash, pat to slightly damp, then scoop on the cream.

Wash first, then use Body Caviar once or twice a week for a polished feel.

Wash, pat to slightly damp, then smooth a few drops of rosewood oil over skin for a glow.

The same four scents: the hand wash at the sink matches the wash in the shower.
