The creation
A silky Kalahari oil blend for glowing, supple skin.
Imperial Jade is the oil you reach for when skin looks tired. It is a short, clean list of plant oils: mongongo, Kalahari melon seed, marula, grapeseed and argan, finished with vitamin E. Together they glide on like silk and sink in without leaving a tacky film.
The best moment is straight out of the shower. Skin is still damp, a few warmed drops spread in seconds, and the oil helps seal in the water that is already there. Shoulders, shins and elbows look polished and feel soft for hours.
Mongongo has a dry, silky touch, Kalahari melon seed oil is light and rich in linoleic acid, marula brings nourishing oleic acid, and argan leaves skin feeling smooth and supple. It is made to be simple: no heavy butters, nothing waxy, just oils.
Choose Hawaiian Black Lava, Moroccan Fig and Bergamot, or Violet and Bergamot. It layers well over body cream when skin is very dry, and it is lovely on its own.
- Mongongo, Kalahari melon, marula and argan in one glide
- Skin looks luminous and feels silky-soft
- Helps seal in moisture on damp skin

The story behind
Made by hand, in small batches, by a mother and son in Brooklyn
Marianella spent her childhood in her grandmother's kitchen in Venezuela, making soap and beauty products by hand, and her travels gave her a taste for oils from far-off places. This body oil brings together oils from the Kalahari and beyond (mongongo, Kalahari melon, marula and argan) with a little vitamin E.
We blend it by hand in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in batches of 50 to 100, and her son David designed the bottle. The blend glides like silk and leaves skin glowing instead of heavy. No harsh chemicals, no animal testing, and as little waste as we can manage.

The perfect partner

Wash, leave skin damp, then a few drops of oil for glow.

Scrub with Body Caviar and rinse, then glide the oil over damp skin.

Cream the dry areas first, then the oil over the top for a satin glow.

Light the candle as you smooth the oil on after a bath: scent and glow together.
