Jaboneria Marianella, the natural luxury bath and body company founded by the mother and son duo of Marianella Febres-Cordero and David Foote, will open The Jaboneria Marinaella Soap Bar at the Gansenvoort Market (353 west 14th Street) in Manhattan’s MeatPacking District for the 2016 holiday shopping season. The Marianella Soap Bar will be open from 8 am – 8 pm Featuring a daily and weekly menu of hand-made, 100 percent natural and 100 percent organic products available exclusively at the retail location for the holiday season.
“My mother and I have always loved engaging with our customer, because we are a family business and such a deep connection with our products, each bar of soap has our family crest, every single fragrance is inspired by my mother’s memories or the fact that I have designed every inch of the line that makes the idea of a “Soap Bar” such an exciting one,” said David Foote. “We want the Jaboneria Marianella Soap Bar to be an experience, you can come in, wash your hands, try the lotions, smell the fragrances, try unique products that are hand crafted there on the spot that day, even get a gift box custom painted."
Marianella and David will be on hand adding to Jaboneria Marianella’s already popular products, developing a weekly menu of 100 percent organic and natural bath salts and body scrubs with inspired and beneficial ingredients, for unique products that awaken your senses and are wonderful for your skin, made by Marinella herself. For the shopper looking for a special, personal gift, Foote, a renowned artist, will hand paint custom box sets, on weekends during the holiday shopping season. Shoppers will also enjoy complementary and beneficial infused waters.
Jabonería Marianella Soaps began in 2007. Natives of Venezuela, the mother and son duo were inspired to revisit a time-honored family tradition — a craft that Marianella once learned in her mother’s kitchen with her sisters — the delicate art of creating natural soap. Combining David’s artistic talent and Marianella’s nose for nostalgic fragrances from the old country, the two have carefully selected natural ingredients for a line of products that are as stylish for the bath as they are beneficial to your skin.
